    AEON FLUX

The last hope for the survival of humanity lies within the heavily armoured walls of Bregna, a strictly ordered and organised utopia within a vast mass of untamed wilderness. Bregna is almost entirely composed of modernist architecture appropriated from Berlin.
The world is so rigid and immaculate that it must be, for the inhabitants, incredibly predictable and yet we discover that there are many dark secrets hidden in plain sight.

The atmosphere within this environment varies, at times ominous, ethereal, professional but always imposing, Bregna itself is an antagonist within the plot.
It is described as a “gilded cage” and we are led to question whether the protection and order that it provides is worth the sacrifice for autonomy and free thought. Perhaps the uncomfortable truth is that freedom can only ever be freedom within a cage?
